Exploring and Managing Intent Topics in SalesHub

Introduction

SalesHub allows users to explore and manage intent topics that help refine their sales strategies. This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to browse, search, add, activate, and deactivate intent topics within the platform.

Exploring Intent Topics

Users can explore intent topics by selecting a category and further refining their search using subcategories and topics.

Steps to Explore Intent Topics:

Step 1: Navigate to the Intent Topics section in Sales Hub.

Step 2: Under the Explore All Topics section, select a Category from the list (e.g., Business, Auto, Arts & Entertainment, etc.).

Step 3: After selecting a category, available Subcategories will appear. Choose the relevant subcategory.

Step 4: Once a subcategory is selected, the related Topics will be displayed.

This process allows users to browse and find relevant topics for their needs.

Searching for a Specific Topic

If users already have a topic in mind, they can directly search for it using the search bar.

Steps to Search for a Topic:

Step 1: Locate the "Choose your topic of interest" search bar.

Step 2: Type the desired topic (e.g., "LinkedIn Sales Navigator").

Step 3: The system will display relevant topics based on the search query.

Step 4: Click on the topic to add it to your list.

Managing Topics (Activating & Deactivating)

Once a topic is added, it is enabled by default. Users can activate or deactivate topics based on their needs. However, there is a limit to the number of active topics.

Steps to Manage Topics:

Step 1: After adding a topic, it will be automatically enabled.

Step 2: To deactivate a topic, toggle the switch off.

Step3: If the topic activation limit is reached, users must deactivate an existing topic before activating a new one.

If a user tries to activate a new topic beyond the limit, an alert message will appear, informing them of the restriction.

Recently Added Topics

On the right side of the interface, the Recently Added Topics section displays up to four of the most recently saved topics. This allows users to quickly access topics they have added without searching again.
