Introduction

SalesHub provides users with the flexibility to manage their Company Lists as either private or public, depending on their visibility preferences within the organization. By default, all lists created by a user are set to private, ensuring exclusive access. However, users can make a list public by toggling the lock icon, allowing other team members to view and collaborate on the list.

Additionally, users can mark important lists as favorites, making them easily accessible from the Leads → Companies → All section. This article will guide you through managing company lists efficiently.

Understanding Private and Public Company Lists

Private Lists (Default Setting)

  • Only visible to the user who created the list.

  • Other team members in the organization cannot access or view the list.

  • Ensures confidentiality of research and lead management.

Public Lists

  • Visible to other members within the organization.

  • Can be accessed by colleagues for better collaboration.

  • Useful for team-based lead generation and management.

Managing Visibility: Making a List Public or Private

By default, all company lists are private when created. Users can toggle the list's visibility between private and public using the lock icon.

Steps to Make a Company List Public

  1. Navigate to Leads → Companies in SalesHub.

  2. Click on Select a list to view all saved company lists.

  3. Locate the company list you want to share with your team.

  4. Click the Lock Icon next to the list name:

    • 🔒 Locked (Private Mode) – Only visible to you.

    • 🔓 Unlocked (Public Mode) – Visible to other team members.

  5. Once unlocked, the list becomes public, allowing others in your organization to view and access it.

Steps to Make a Company List Private Again

  1. Find the public list in the Leads → Companies section.

  2. Click the Lock Icon again.

  3. The list will switch back to private mode(🔒), restricting access to only you.

Marking a Company List as a Favorite

If you frequently access a specific company list, you can mark it as a favorite for quick access. Favorited lists appear just below the navigation path: Leads → Companies → All.

How to Favorite a Company List

  1. Navigate to Leads → Companies → All.

  2. Find the list you want to favorite from a select a list.

  3. Click the Star Icon ⭐ next to the list name.

  4. The list will now appear in the Favorites section, making it easy to locate.

How to Remove a List from Favorites

  1. Go to the Favorites section under Leads → Companies.

  2. Click the Star Icon ⭐ again to remove it from favorites.

  3. The list will no longer appear in the Favorites section but remains accessible under All lists.
